We’re not going to pretend that the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi wasn’t stressful, but it worked out for the best. In this extended edition of Behind The Charge we follow the crew and Max on the way to claiming the Drivers’ Championship.
Watch as everyone goes from as tense as is humanly possible, to the joy and relief when Max crossed the finish line. We’re pretty sure the hairs on the back of your neck will stand up when they hear Max on the radio again after he won. Unmissable!
2.BehindTheCharge:Homecoming
The Dutch Grand Prix returned after more than a 35-year absence last year and it was a homecoming like no other. The sea of orange and the constant playing of ‘Super Max’ all combined for a weekend to remember for the Team.
It was also a race that everyone had put a pin in to see if Max could handle the pressure of a home race. Spa, The Red Bull Ring and Silverstone had all been labelled as a home race for Max, but this was the real deal.

This Behind The Charge episode shows you exactly how the video was put together and the amount of work that goes into filming a Red Bull Racing Road Trip. Including how DC had to stay calm with an aeroplane flying just a few feet above his head – upside down!

If you thought the Dutch fans were passionate about Max, wait until you see the Mexican fans welcoming Checo.
Checo wasn’t wrong when he said: “It’s going to be crazy, I think.” He had to deal with swarms of fans all weekend whilst trying to focus on the race.
The episode takes place at a Showrun in Mexico City and you can witness the crowd going wild when they see their hero. Checo was also able to repay their loyalty by becoming the first Mexican to claim a Formula One podium in Mexico. He says his fans are like family, we couldn’t agree more.

As Christian says at the start of this episode: “All the races have the same points, but this is the one you want to win!”
The glamour and glitz of the Monaco Grand Prix makes it a special place in every Formula One driver’s heart, and in 2021 Max added his name to the list of distinguished drivers who can say they’ve won in Monte Carlo.

You might not think a film of someone starting a new job is anything exciting, but when that person is Sergio Pérez and he’s starting at Red Bull Racing… think again.
In this episode we follow Checo during his first few days with the Team, where he meets his crew, gets fitted for his seat and tries to settle in before the season starts.
You’ll see everything from Checo arriving at Milton Keynes and exploring some places within our Red Bull Technology Campus that are usually off limits to the public.
