Checo: His Season So FarWith 21 races completed and one final drama to unfold, we caught up with Checo to discuss his first season with Red Bull Racing Honda, his relationship with Max and his job in Abu Dhabi.

Being dropped into a competitive team was always going to be tough, but the maelstrom of the 2021 season presented the proverbial baptism of fire, but Checo has fitted in very comfortably, formed a solid partnership with Max Verstappen and given the team an easy option to resign the Mexican for 2022. With the end of the season in sight, but also a great deal to be decided, we caught up with him before the final race of the year. This is what he had to say.
