With all that excitement and partying we’ll forgive you if you missed a few facts and figures from the weekend, so we’ve collated some of the most notable moments which happened at the Dutch Grand Prix.

On lap 13 of the Dutch Grand Prix, Max hit another milestone, he hit the landmark of leading a Formula One race for 1,000 laps. At just 23 that’s a huge achievement, but just another in a long line of records that Max has collected along the way. He becomes the 19th driver in the sport to reach this feat and 468 of his leading laps have come from this season alone!
10PolesForSuperMax
As Max won in fine style at the weekend it might be forgotten that he collected his 10th pole position of his career on Saturday. Although Max is already in his sixth Formula One season, his first pole position didn’t come until Hungary 2019. He collected two more in 2020 and has seven this year already. Out of his 10 poles he has gone on to win the race seven times.
AnotherFastestPitStop
The Team collected another fastest pit stop award this weekend with a 2.15s stop. Granted it wasn’t a record-breaking time, but it was quick enough to top the table.
That result puts the Team on 329 points for the DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award and a lead of 167 points over second place Mercedes. So far this season the Team has collected nine of the fastest 10 times.
MorePointsThanLastYear
With nine races remaining, it’s impressive that the Team has already surpassed the points total we collected for the Constructors’ Championship in 2020. Last year the Team collected 319 points after 17 races. This season, after only 13 rounds, we have already picked up 332.5 points.
The Team are currently 12 points behind championship rivals Mercedes, but with nine races remaining – starting with Monza this weekend – we’ll be on the charge to close the gap!
ChecoVotedDriverOfTheDay
Sergio Pérez was awarded driver of the day – voted for by the fans – after his epic drive. Due to an engine change, he had to take a grid penalty which saw him start the race from the pit lane.
If that wasn’t enough, he flat-spotted one of his tyres early in the race and had to pit, changing the Team’s strategy to a two-stop. He then went on an overtaking rampage, where he said he was ‘on the limit’.
If anyone can fight back it’s Checo and he was able to battle his way through the field to take the chequered flag in P8 – a well-deserved drive of the day.
