Monza was on calendar the first World Championship back in 1950 and has held the Italian Grand Prix ever since (apart from once). For 2021 the race will be 53 laps of the 5.793km circuit, with a total race distance of 306.72km. The lap record of 1:21.046 was set in 2004 by Rubens Barrichello. This year Monza will also be the location for the second race weekend to feature qualifying on Friday and a Sprint Race on Saturday – and what a place to host it!
