Obviously we’re not going to go down the well tread path and say just make a goulash. Yes, it’s the most famous dish from Hungary, but the country has an entire catalogue of yummy delicacies which will your watch party guests. One dish that we definitely recommend putting out for your guests would be Lángos - a fried flatbread that can be eaten alone or with a variety of toppings. The most popular being sour cream and grated cheese, or Liptauer cheese and ham, or even just garlic butter. You can go as simple or as out-there as you like with your toppings!
If you have a sweet tooth then you’re in luck. Hungary has some of the best pastries and sweet treats to offer. Sour cherry strudel is a strong place to start – all you need is filo pastry, sugar, walnuts, and cherries (of course) and you’re all set.
Another traditional Hungarian dessert is the chimney cake (locally known as Kürtöskalács). A delicious tower of spiralled pastry covered in cinnamon and sugar, it can be eaten fresh from the oven or filled with whipped cream, chocolate spread, fruit – whatever tickles your fancy.
QuenchingYourThirst
Hungary is awash with beer and wine – in fact there 22 wine regions across the country. While it might not be possible to source some traditional Hungarian beverages for your watch party – you can always give a Red Bull mocktail a try instead.
There are plenty to choose from but we highly recommend the ‘Spice’. You’ll need A few lemon wedges, 20ml lemon juice, one chilli, some rock salt, and a can of Red Bull Yellow Edition. Yum!

Music makes the party and you’re going to want a playlist when there’s no action on track. And we’ve got your back. Here’s our Bulls Beat playlist for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Turn it up!
ThreadsForTheRace
You’ve got the food sorted, the drinks on ice and the music queued up, so all you need is something to wear. Head over to Red Bull Shop and bag yourself some new kit for the race – whether you fancy a Team polo or one of our new bucket hats (perfect for the summer if we do say so ourselves), we’ve got tons for you to choose from.
That’s everything you need for a party celebrating the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Enjoy!
