Making its debut on the Formula One calendar this year, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit is a street circuit located on the Corniche, which is a 30km coastal resort area.
The track was designed by the Tilke company, in conjunction with Formula 1’s own Motorsports team. It’s a very fast street circuit, with average speeds expected to be 252km/h, which is faster than Silverstone and second to Monza. The race is being branded as the fastest street circuit ever seen in Formula 1, so we’re expecting plenty of action-packed racing. The circuit also features the most corners on the 2021 calendar with 27, many of them quick, sinuous bends as the drivers work their way along the Jeddah waterfront.
