His technical knowledge and insight into both F1 and sim racing will provide excellent support to the Team’s growing Twitch content programme.
He will join F1Elly as part of Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports’ team of content creators, building a programme of live streams, social content and opportunities to engage with the Teams’ Esports drivers across multiple channels.
PondeN said: “This is honestly a dream come true and something that I have been working towards for a very long time. I’ve grown up watching and being involved in Esports since I was 12 years old and remember Red Bull being part of the scene from the very beginning. I recall my favourite Call of Duty player, Nadeshot, partnering with Red Bull and I dreamt that I would get the chance to work with the brand one day. Here we are nine years later! I am just so thankful to everyone who has supported me so far, from having one viewer streams, until now.”
PondeN is eager to build the relationship between F1 and F1 Esports and will be hosting F1 Esports Series Pro Championship watchalongs on the official Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports Twitch channel.
PondeN added: “Sim racing has so much to offer that I feel is still yet to be tapped into. I want to help bridge the gap between real world racing and sim racing to show that races in iRacing, rFactor2, Assetto Corsa and the official F1 game can be just as exciting as real world and a great place to start is the watchalongs of the F1 Esports Series.”
Covering F1 race weekends live on his Twitch channel, PondeN also plays sim racing titles such as iRacing on his channel.
