Dutch Road TripThis is it: the ultimate road trip through the Netherlands – Aston Martin Red Bull Racing style.
01Dutch Road Trip: Port to Zandvoort
In recent years, the ‘Orange Army’ has followed Max everywhere. Thousands of fans from the Netherlands have travelled to racing circuits around the world to support their compatriot and now with the return of the Dutch Grand Prix to the Formula One calendar, it’s high time to show the Netherlands off to the F1 world.
And what better way to do that than with a Formula One car?
In ‘Dutch Road Trip: Port to Zandvoort’, Max takes teammate Alex on a whistle-stop tour of historic and memorable locations across his home country. The two tear through the port of Rotterdam, over narrow dykes passing windmills, through giant flower greenhouses and straight into the center of The Hague. Along the way they meet old acquaintances and do donuts outside the Royal Noordeinde Palace.
The ultimate goal is, of course, to get to Zandvoort, the place where the resurrected Dutch Grand Prix should have been held on Sunday, 3rd May. However, an ultimate road trip through the Netherlands wouldn’t be complete without visiting one of the country’s beautiful beaches and so the pair put the hammer down over the soft sand of Scheveningen together with motocross legend Jeffrey Herlings, where the multi-time MXGP world champion creates a spectacle by jumping over the Bulls with his KTM.
We won't have a Dutch GP on Sunday, 3rd May now, but this Dutch Road Trip brings Formula One and the Netherlands together – Aston Martin Red Bull Racing style. Enjoy!
