Mark joined the Team in 2007 and enjoyed two seasons with David Coulthard as his teammate, before Sebastian Vettel joined in 2009. Mark was a driver for the Team when it had its first win and one-two finish in China that year, finishing behind teammate Sebastian Vettel. He claimed his first win for the Team the same year winning the German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring.
He was an integral part of the Team during its first dynasty, winning four double World Championships four years in a row. It was his dominance and ability to support his teammate that helped Oracle Red Bull Racing be so successful.
Webber finished third in the Drivers’ Championship three out of those four years. He was also the driver to suffer from the infamous Multi-21 call at the 2013 Malaysian Grand Prix, which was a covert code for the team to order the cars to not battle each other, however Vettel ignored the call and overtook Webber for the lead.
After his final race in Brazil 2013 he had just helped the Team claim its fourth Constructors’ Championship whilst collecting his last podium in Formula One. It was a fitting end to a fantastic career. As he removed his helmet to say goodbye to the Team and the fans – whilst still driving his RB9 – there wasn’t a dry eye in the circuit.
This legendary REBL ARTFCT, beautifully displayed in its presentation case is fitted with a chequered flag acoustic panel backing in a nod to moment when Mark took off his helmet in his final in-lap, exposing himself to the deafening vibrations of the engine. It’s a money can’t buy that includes a part of a race-winning car from one to the Team’s greatest drivers.
