Each round, with the exception of Le Mans (the only round not on UK soil), featured a 20-minute qualifying session and two 25-minute races. Le Mans hosted one longer 45-minute feature race.
Sebastian, who is also the current Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup Champion, was dominant throughout the Carrera series, taking a total of nine wins and six pole positions. And on three occasions, the Red Bull Racing Esports driver took the triple – winning both races and taking pole – at Silverstone, Snetterton and Oulton Park.
Championship winner, Sebastian said: “I was happy with my performance, I had a really good pace. It’s been a very up and down season, that being said, this has been the most fun I’ve had in a while, it has been like a breath of fresh air. There’s also been some really good racing, lots of clean fighting, there’s been the odd incident, but when you’re fighting each other so closely for every single lap, it’s inevitable, that incidents will happen, but the respect was there. It was a lot of fun this season.”
Graham Carroll finished P3 in the championship, proving once again that he’s one of the strongest Esports drivers out there. During the Carrera Cup, Graham took two race wins and a pole position.
You can see Sebastian and Graham in action this weekend in Spa at round seven of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup. The broadcast begins at 19:00BST and you can follow all the action here.
