Checo took his first victory as a Red Bull Racing Honda driver, surviving a late-race battle with Lewis Hamilton that saw the Mercedes driver lock up and finish in P15 after a red flag restart brought about by a disastrous puncture that robbed Max of an almost certain victory just five laps from the chequered flag.

Inaugurated in 2016, Baku City Circuit has provided great excitement and a lot of battles in its relatively short span, hosting only four previous races.
We didn’t race here in 2020, but return this weekend for 51 laps, covering 306.049km of tight and twisty, as well as wide and open racing. So, before the circus rolled into town, we sat down with Red Bull Racing Honda’s Test and Reserve Driver Alex Albon and asked him about the Azerbaijani track.

Before the Azerbaijan Grand Prix we hadn't been to Baku since 2019. So we thought it was only right we pay homage to this special street circuit.
Before Sunday's race we sat down with Checo to talk to him about the fifth outing of the Baku City Circuit. In the previous four races, he had stood on the podium twice, and was hoping to make it a hat-trick of Azerbaijan podiums.
